South Herts 7 - Castle Royle 0
 

We had a fantastic start to the season with a 7-0 victory over Castle Royle last Sunday.
Scott leading us off followed by George both secured 4&3 wins  for us, then Adam (1up), Ed (2&1), Tomasz (3&2), Geoff (2&1) and Liam (7&5) completed the clean sweep.

This was our first major test with Castle Royle finishing 2nd behind Woburn last year including wins away at Stoke Park and Ellesborough so to start our season with such a comprehensive victory against a top side shows we have every chance of being competitive in this league.

There's plenty of work still to be done and we have another 9 major tests to come this season.  The first of which is this Sunday at home to Woburn, who have won the league in 4 of the last 6 seasons and is exactly the sort of game we want to be involved in. We know with the quality we've got and a team all prepared to battle hard for their points that we'll be a major test for them.
