Format & Eligibility

This 36-hole medal competition is open to male amateur golfers who are members of an affiliated golf club, aged 35 years or over on 23rd September 2026 and are in possession of a WHS handicap index not exceeding 12.0. (Maximum Playing Handicap allowance – 13)

Competition Information

Players will play from the purple tees (Slope 136 | Course Rating 71.8) with start times allocated and sent to all competitors after the closing date.

Maximum Field Size: 72 players

Ballot: There will be a ballot based upon handicap index at the closing date

2025: Cut Mark - 5.3 | Reserve list - 5.4 to 7.5

Closing Date: Friday 4 September 2026

Entry Fee: £80.00

(Includes: Morning coffee/bacon roll, light lunch and evening meal)

Prizes (Each player may only win one voucher)

£250 voucher for best gross score over 36 holes (Increase for 2026)

£250 voucher for best net score over 36 holes (Increase for 2026)

£125 voucher for runner-up gross & net scores over 36 holes (Increase for 2026)

£50 voucher for best a.m. & best p.m. scores gross & net.

(In the event of a tie, the winner will be decided on count-back over the last 18, 9, 6, 3 or last holes)
