Captain's Prize 2018

Our Captain's Prize took place on Saturday 9th July 2018 on another sunny summers day. 

36 players were invited to play in this event based on the best aggregate scores achieved over 4 medal rounds from the following qualifying events:

February Medal, March Medal, April Medal, May Medal, Steve Thomas Bowl & Sunday Cup Qualifier.

The Captain's Prize was a 36 hole competition with the first round starting sharply at 7.44am. After the first round had been completed, Gary Wildman came in with a sensational score of 65 taking the lead. 

After a quick swift turn-around, players were ready to head out for their second rounds at 12.32. 

Again there were some great scores on the second round, but coming out on top overall with two very consistent rounds of 72 and 71 was Stuart Chapman with a total score of 143 leaving him -1 for the day. Yo Uchishiba and Gary Wildman finished right behind with scores of 144 leaving them level for the day.

Well done to all competitors for qualifying for this event and providing us with some fantastic golf. 

The winner's prizes will be presented on Captain's Sunday, 24th June at 7pm along with other competitions won over that weekend.
