Our season has started with a win.

Our lead off pair of Colin Hardman and Ian Blackman, found the going tough from the outset and were 6 down after 8 holes.  A tremendous fightback took place, but it could not be sustained, and they finally lost 2 & 1.

The second pair of Simon Butler (making his debut) and myself, started strongly and were never remotely in danger throughout the match. Ended up winning comfortably 5 & 4.

The third pair of Hughie Simpson and Lennie Wilson (also making his debut for the Seniors Scratch Team) struggled initially but came back from 2 down to win their match 3 & 2 with solid golf.

Our next match is at Mid Herts on the 8 May 2019.
